But, really, when you take a look at the Minion, you can kind of see it.
Ephesians 6 tells us to "Put on the full armor of God," which includes "the belt of truth buckled around your waist" (OK, I'm not sure he has a belt, but it looks kind of like he has a belt buckle, so we're going with it), "with the breastplate of righteousness in place" (he kind of has a "breastplate"), "and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace" (he's got his boots on!). Ephesians 6 continues with "In addition to this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." So all my little Minion is missing is that sword of the Spirit. We'll have to work on that! :)
Who would have thought a goofy little character could offer such a spiritual lesson?!?
