Day 14 - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
1.19.11 - Today we tendered at Cabo San Lucas. You can't dock here, so you must take tender boats to get to shore. We had an amazing view from our room. We could see the "famed" Los Arcos, Lover's Beach and Sea Lion Colony, which we all saw much closer on our whale watch excursion.
We didn't see a ton of whale action, but we did see a mama and baby humpback whale, so that was cool. They came up with their fins quite a bit. So it was a nice experience, but wasn't super awesome.
We had lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet back on the ship and then I watched Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest while Barkley took a nap back in the room. Again, pretty cool to see a classic on the big screen, especially a Hitchcock movie!
Tonight was another formal night, so we skipped dinner again. We went to the early showing of tonight's show, Dreams, where Anne Marie learns to fly with a "little faith, trust and pixie dust." The we grabbed hot dogs at Plutos for dinner.
No towel animal tonight, but we did get a neat commemorative windchime. The top is the ship with the "commemorative" info on it, and the hanging down pieces are several Disney characters in Mexican garb.
Only 1 more full day. Sigh.
